The Others

Blasphemel had been hiding in the darkest part of Hell for weeks. Creeping from hole to cave to anywhere dark and deep. He couldn't live like this. It would be better to let Lucifer do what he wanted with him. He would go to Lucifer and beg for mercy.

Not long after leaving his latest hideout he saw them. Half a dozen demons, some he knew well. The only reason for them to be out here was to find him. He was afraid, but he may as well get it over with. He made sure they could see him and waited.

When the demons saw him they rushed towards him. The first to reach him was Rendora. He had known her since the early days down here. "We've been looking everywhere for you. Satan has stopped his searches and chosen to forget you."

Blasphemel was confused, "If you aren't here on his orders, then why are you looking for me?"

A young male demon answered "We heard what you did, we have all wanted to do the same. We want you to lead us against Satan in a rebellion."

Blasphemel was shocked. It never occurred to him that others may have the same feelings about being here. "What can only seven of us do?"

Rendora stepped closer to him. "There are more of us, hundreds. We have been quietly adding to our numbers for years, but we need a leader. Lead us Blasphemel."

As Blasphemel looked around him, he felt good. It would be hard and they may fail, but at least they would be doing something. "I guess we should look for a large enough cave to meet in."

Mmmm . . . so how does one have a rebellion in Hell? What sort of stuff is available as weapons in such a place? Or perhaps they'll use special powers? Or maybe it's just gonna be a huge fist-fight? I guess I'm looking way ahead. Can't wait to get there.

I am very impressed! The story line is very good. Just happened to stumble upon this blog and am convinced you all could make a series of books out of this! Very cool. :-)
